Matthew Nir is an Associate at Kucker Marino Winiarsky & Bittens, LLP, whose practice focuses on representing landlords in real estate matters and landlord/tenant litigation.

Matt started his career prosecuting misdemeanors and violations for the Nassau County District Attorney’s office and Colorado’s 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. During his time as a prosecutor, Matt conducted jury trials and pre-trial hearings, as well as negotiated pleas with opposing counsel and conducted arraignments. Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked for a boutique landlord/tenant firm practicing in housing court in Kings and Queens counties.

Matt earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, where he was on the Dean’s list. He then earned his J.D. from Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York, the District of Columbia, and Colorado.
