Michael S. Bennett is Of Counsel at Kucker Marino Winiarsky & Bittens LLP, where he represents developers, property owners, and other real estate stakeholders in complex litigation and regulatory matters. He advises clients navigating New York City’s evolving real estate landscape, providing strategic counsel on disputes involving commercial leasing, rent regulation, Loft Law, Article 78 proceedings, and cooperative and condominium matters. Michael combines practical business insight with extensive courtroom experience to help clients protect their interests in highly regulated environments.

Michael has extensive experience handling complex commercial lease disputes, residential rent regulation matters, Article 78 proceedings challenging agency determinations, Loft Law disputes, and cooperative and condominium litigation. He regularly represents clients throughout every stage of litigation, from pre-suit strategy, to motion practice, to trial and appeal. An experienced trial and appellate advocate, Michael serves as first-chair trial counsel and regularly prepares and argues appellate briefs before New York appellate courts.

Before joining KMWB, Michael represented clients in both the public and private sectors. He began his career with the New York City Law Department, representing the City of New York, the NYPD, and individual officers in complex civil litigation. He later represented leading hospitals and medical professionals in medical malpractice actions, developers and contractors in high-exposure construction litigation, and national telecommunications providers in complex commercial disputes. This diverse litigation background enables Michael to develop practical, strategic solutions tailored to the business objectives of his real estate clients.

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School and is admitted to practice in New York.
