Mr. Bennett is a Senior Associate with the firm. Mr. Bennett represents developers, commercial and residential landlords in the areas of rent regulation, loft law, subsidized housing, and cooperatives and condominiums. He handles complex matters in the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Divisions, as well as Commercial & Residential Landlord/Tenant parts. He also appears before, and litigates Article 78 Proceedings against, various State and City Agencies including the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal and the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

Mr. Bennett graduated from New York Law School in 2015 and immediately went to work for the New York City Law Department where he represented the City and the NYPD in civil rights and police misconduct cases in Bronx County Supreme Court. Following his three-year commitment to the City, Michael went on to represent prominent NYC Hospitals and their staff in Medical Malpractice actions, major developers and contractors in high exposure construction accident litigation, and a national telecommunications provider in commercial landlord/tenant disputes. Michael has taken and defended more than 100 depositions, managed voluminous documentary discovery, written and argued a wide variety of motions and emergency applications, and negotiated and mediated numerous matters.
