Kucker Marino Winiarsky & Bittens, LLP is excited to announce the release of its very own mobile application, the KMWB Rent Calculator. The KMWB Rent Calculator, a tool designed specifically for KMWB’s clients, enables users to calculate legal regulated rents at the click of a button!

When using the KMWB Rent Calculator, users simply input information particular to a certain unit such as the date the lease commenced, the length of the lease, and the last legal regulated rent, and the application does the rest. The KMWB Rent Calculator synthesizes both the guidelines put forth by the Rent Guidelines Board as well as the relevant provisions from the Rent Acts of 1997 and 2015 in order to generate the new legal regulated rent. On the app’s results screen, users not only get the new regulated rent amount but the application’s layout allows users to see and understand which laws and guidelines influenced the calculation.
